PSL 2023, Karachi kings vs Lahore Qalandars Features: Karachi nailed down Lahore Rulers with all due respect of 186 runs at the Public Arena, winning the challenge by 67 runs. Akif Javed got a 4-fer and was the pick among the bowlers. Prior skipper Imad Wasim (35 off 19), James Vince (46 off 36) and Matthew Swim (36 off 24) motivated the hosts to complete at 185/5 in their portion of 20 overs.

We were on the imprint all along. We started well with the bat and I thought a score of 160-170 was about standard. The wicket was truly precarious and we would have rather not lost wickets (about his association with Cutting). Simply needed to get to around 170 or somewhere in the vicinity. Bowling was great, everybody went about their business. Difficult to bowl under tension, everybody adhered to their arrangements and it worked.

Akif Javed to Zaman Khan

Out Got by Tahir!! Karachi open their record with a major 67-run win! Javed wraps up the last conventions. A hard length conveyance more extensive outside off, Zaman steps back and slices at this, just to get a thick edge on it. Conveys to third man where Tahir pretty much clutches it. It was a major match and clearly frustrating to lose. Be that as it may, it's an integral part of the game. We'll gain from this loss and hope to areas of strength for return. There were many stages (where Lahore lost the plot), challenging to put a finger on which was the most choosing of them. Indeed, there are a few up-sides like Baig who has batted well for us.
